The first part of building fromclaudetoprod.dev, from the original screen recordings. Claude Code reads my notes and interviews me before writing anything, the logo goes through ChatGPT round by round, Claude traces it to SVG, and email alerts get set up through Resend and DNS without the API key ever touching the chat. The hours of actual site-building were not recorded; this is the part that was.

I stopped making my AI images by hand

I used to make every image by hand: Claude wrote the prompts, I pasted each one into ChatGPT, downloaded the result and moved it into the project. Here Claude writes one brief instead, and Codex inside VS Code generates all eleven images for the OAuth episode itself, each one chained off the one before, with one edit allowed per image and checkpoints where Claude reviews the work. Recorded live, including the part where a fix went wrong.

Part of the origin story: a video series on the practice the original experiment described — the operating contract Claude worked under, the nightly checks that were planned (the job was never armed and only ever ran by hand), and what they caught. Episode 1 was planned as an audit of the production systems built on this workflow, including what the audit found.
