Remote Control: I made a video from my phone at lunch

No mic, no laptop: a whole video from my phone at lunch.

I turned on Claude Code’s Remote Control, left my desk for lunch, and kept making a video from my phone. No mic, no laptop. Claude voiced the narration, planned every shot, asked before spending a single Kling credit, and I approved it all with short text messages.

Seven Kling clips, about 600 credits, approved from a phone. Claude caught that our captions would clash with YouTube’s, checked every clip frame by frame (one grew a mouth), and made the subtitles, thumbnail, YouTube text and a vertical Short.

Try it yourself

  1. In Claude Code, run /remote-control and open the same session on your phone.
  2. Tell Claude to stop before it spends anything: show the frames, the settings and the cost, then wait for your “go”.
  3. Approve with short messages, and ask it to check every result before it moves on.
